Maritime is a cloud platform for deploying and operating persistent AI agents with dedicated virtual machines for each user or agent. Every agent receives an isolated Firecracker micro VM with its own kernel persistent disk files memory credentials browser sessions installed packages and development environment. Agent state survives sleep restart and redeployment which allows long lived workflows to continue from where they stopped. Machines can boot in about 0.5 seconds and sleeping machines can wake in about 0.6 seconds. Maritime is designed for agents that need to download software run scripts operate browsers build applications train models manage files and access authenticated services. The platform includes a dashboard command line interface TypeScript SDK and Python SDK. Developers can deploy from templates or repositories and communicate with agents through supported interfaces. An MCP integration provides a headful Linux desktop for agents allowing them to open browsers click type and manipulate files while users can watch or take control through a shared link. Maritime also supports Telegram connections and provides tools for monitoring agent fleets. The service is free for up to three agents and offers startup credits of up to 10000 dollars for eligible applicants.
