Trama is a background automation application for Mac users who want to eliminate repetitive computer tasks without writing code or building visual workflows. Users describe an automation in plain English, review the steps created by AI, and enable it when ready. Automations can run from clipboard activity, screenshots, keyboard shortcuts, schedules, and other triggers. The app supports AppleScript, shell scripts, OCR, screen awareness, and integrations with Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Sheets, Google Drive, Slack, Notion, GitHub, Linear, Jira, Airtable, Telegram, Discord, Apple Notes, Apple Reminders, and HTTP endpoints. It can summarize emails, extract receipt data, prepare reports, rewrite copied text, analyze web pages, and send updates automatically. When an automation fails, Trama explains the error and can offer a one click repair. Trama runs primarily on the users Mac and allows connections to Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Groq, Claude Code, Codex, and compatible AI services using the users own key. The free plan includes three active automations and 150 integration steps per day. Paid plans increase limits and add features such as rollback, persistent variables, and custom MCP servers.
