Openbroca is an AI powered voice dictation application designed for Mac users who want to speak naturally and receive polished text wherever their cursor is active. Optional Screen Context can help recognize relevant names and terms visible on the screen. The service supports dictation in 30 languages with automatic language detection and translation into 28 output languages. It is cloud powered, so an internet connection is required, and the company states that audio is not stored. The application is a 6.5 MB universal build for Apple silicon and Intel Macs running macOS 15 or later. The free plan provides 3000 text units weekly and includes all features without requiring a payment card.
