ArtifactSend is a DocSend alternative created by Vela Partners for sharing documents, presentations, AI generated artifacts and interactive content through tracked links. Users can upload PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, HTML and Markdown files or share Claude artifacts through a private link. The platform shows who opened a document, how long they spent reading each page or section, whether they returned, what they copied and whether they reached the end. It also supports data rooms with folders, access controls, email confirmation, six digit access codes, Google sign in, company domain restrictions, expiration dates, passwords, download controls and watermarking. ArtifactSend supports fundraising materials, investor updates, sales proposals, client reports, product prototypes and website animations. Readers can ask questions that are answered only from the document content, while owners can review every question. Comments can be pinned to specific locations, and website visit alerts show when a reader visits a connected website. Integrations with Claude and ChatGPT use the MCP server, allowing users to create links, review reader activity, update files and schedule weekly email digests from within supported assistants. Sharing, readers, analytics, data rooms and team members are free and unlimited. AI actions use prepaid credits at stated rates of five cents per reader answer and half a cent per Claude or ChatGPT action, with the first twenty actions free.
