AC Bridge is a local desktop bridge that connects Claude Code and Codex sessions with smart home devices. It turns agent activity into visible lighting and appliance signals, allowing developers to see when an agent is working, finished, waiting for input, or requesting permission without relying on notification sounds or repeatedly checking the terminal. The service supports profiles that can be assigned to repositories, projects, or individual agent sessions. Users can map agent states to colours, scenes, and device actions. Supported states include working, needs permission, needs input, plan ready, context low, and finished. AC Bridge provides 29 agent states across Claude Code and Codex, with Claude Code supporting all 29 and Codex supporting 19. It includes nine lighting effects such as flash, strobe, pulse, fade, loop, candle, rainbow, siren, and meter. The platform supports more than 20 device types and 49 device commands, including bulbs, plugs, LED strips, switches, covers, thermostats, fans, media players, vacuums, and sensors. It works with Hue, Govee, WLED, Home Assistant, Kasa, Tapo, LIFX, WiZ, Yeelight, Nanoleaf, Shelly, Tuya, Meross, SONOFF, Elgato, Roku, ESPHome, and other integrations. Device communication occurs locally on the users computer, while account settings and profiles sync through AC Bridge servers. It runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
